Each activity is an opportunity for your child to embrace a new challenge and grow their confidence. Through hands-on learning and healthy movements, children are more likely to remain engaged and build upon their creative skills and emotional growth.

Classes are designed for mind-body connection including:

  • Yoga “off the mat”: nutrition, environment, community care

Sensory yoga combines ways to both energize and slow down in their own pace: Easy and positive sequences to put a smile on kids’ faces and allow breathing room for changing how they move in their bodies.

  • Classes are specifically designed with neurodiversity in mind, offering a sensory-aware environment that encourages movement, mindfulness, and connection. Activities are adaptable for different abilities and needs, building self-awareness, emotional regulation, and joy through creative practices.

    • Little Kids (5–7 years): Classes focus on foundational yoga poses, storytelling, & playful activities to introduce young children to yoga.

    • Big Kids (8–12 years): These sessions delve deeper into yoga practices, incorporating mindfulness, journaling, and discussions about self care & community.

  • Classes are beginner-friendly, offering adaptive poses with options for students with additional needs, such as using the wall, chairs, yoga blocks, and other supportive props: bolsters, blankets, visual aids (colour-coordinated stickers, charts).

    The role of the yoga teacher and integrative assistant is to facilitate coordination and balance during any potential challenges or difficulties when learning new movements, helping to create a fun, calming experience that supports health and well-being.

  • Our approach celebrates neurodiversity by honoring all ways of thinking, feeling, and moving.

    We incorporate mindful language, sensory tools, and inclusive teaching strategies to help children better understand themselves and others, in a safe space where differences are valued and respected.

    We promote yoga sessions tailored to fit the setting and unique needs of each group, for partnering with specialized schools and community centers.

  • Sessions typically run 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the age and needs of the group. They are accessible to children from diverse backgrounds regarding physical ability, attention span, or communication style.

    Private yoga classes are also available for students with special needs where their caregivers request to be included, tailoring sessions to their unique needs, with consideration for younger or older participants (i.e. restorative yoga).
